I've known many people that buy a corvette like that and think for a couple of thousand dollars they can make it a NCRS Corvette.

They can.

For a couple thousand dollars a month sent to a Corvette restorer, in a couple of years you'll have an NCRS judgeable Corvette.

Huge project. But it might make a good hot rod/pro street type car. The ad says clean title, and there are attached pics of the VIN tag and frame stamp. The frame looks like a nice set up for a fat tire rear, rack and pinion front type setup. The seats and tracks would probably go for at least $1,000.00 themselves on Ebay (then you could add the Wiseguy seats). You could add a one piece front end. A big expense would be the missing windshield, convertible top, chrome, etc.
