1967 vette front license bracket

Can someone tell me if the front license bracket on a 67 vette had the small square 1/4" holes for the plastic push in nuts or had the 3/8" square holes? Also, is the power steering relay rod in 1967 the thick or small diameter rod and when did the change take place to the thick rod? Thanks, Timothy Barbieri

For 1967 the license plate bracket holes were 3/8" square.

The steering relay rods, both manual and power, for 1963 to 1968 Corvettes were 3/4" OD. For 1969 and later the relay rods went to 7/8" OD. The later rods can be retrofitted to earlier models and since 1970 the later style rods were all that was available from GM to SERVICE 63-68 applications.

For the license plate bracket to be NCRS correct, it should also have the "ds" manufacturer's logo stamped near the center on the backside.
