63 hose clamps

On a 63 what is the correct color or finish on the corbin type (spring ring ) heater hose clamps . thanks Bill

Bill,

In 63 and 64, the smaller 5/8" clamp was a light shade of gold and the 3/4" was a dark flat red. This changed in 65, or somewhere near the introduction of the 65 model year, to gold and flat orange.

In addition, the 63-64 clamps are unique as the overall length of the wire is about 3/16" longer than all 65 and newer replacements. The ears stand up taller on the 63-64 and it's enough to be obvious. I have a few NOS and can post a scan if needed.
