The plug thread below prompts this question: When the resistor plugs were introduced for the 1969 model year, did they "revise" the resistance of the plug wires as part of the overall system, or did the wires remain as before ?

At least until the start of the HEI era. I didn't pay any attention after that. The resistance in the plugs is I believe relatively small compared to the wires. I don't know why the resistance was added to the plugs.Bill Clupper #618- Top
