    Crankshaft pulley

Trying to determine the correct pulley or pulleys for the crankshaft on a '66 base engine. Am adding P/S. Car has no A/C. Existing crank pulley is a single groove GM part # 3755820 which is correct per the assembly manual w/o P/S. It appears that there should be some combination of pulleys to provide three grooves. Track one for the alternator and track three for the P/S. Various catalogues are confusing at best. Any help is appreciated.

      Dennis,
Hope that I'm not providing misinformation to you. I can tell you what pulleys are used on the '65 base motor with power steering.

The pulley combination that attaches to the harmonic balancer has a total of three grooves. The inner pulley is P/N 3744043 and is 6 3/4 inches in diameter. Bolted to that pulley, is pulley P/N 3751232. This makes the three groove pulley a total of 2 inches wide.

      Hope this information helps.

      Regards,
      Gene
