    C1 Windshield assembly

I have documented my progress on the windshield assembly and have included the site below. Because of a problem with fit I have had it apart and back together multiple times. I have found that if you have the removable tabs, you can quite easily install the posts and top frame with stainless as a single unit. You can install the posts onto the top frame and get the fit you want (thats my problem) and install the bottom frame onto the windshield with the tabs attached. You can keep all screws loose and tighten them after you fit everything.
My problem is the fit of the top stainless hangs lower in the front then the posts by about 1/8 to 3/16 of and inch. The rubber molding is pushed down by the stainless instead of a straight seam accross that you would expect.
Some others have experienced this, is it normal?

The Website is just how I did it. There are probably better ways but at least it documents all the parts you will need.
The links are all the way at the bottom of each page.
