Lower Ball Joint Test

I am going to get my 66 aligned tomorrow and just to be prepared (to keep him honest don't you know) I am wondering what the correct procedure is for checking the lower ball joints is.

insert a BIG screwdriver or crow bar between a-arm and spindle, pry and observe for any slop at ball joint. lowers wear out before uppers. mike
