    Vent Regulators

Has anyone purchased vent regulators from Paragon and if so were they of good quality? I understand they manufacture them. LIC says they have NOS regulators for the same price. Any difference? Thanks for the info.

nors c-2 vent window regulators supplied by gm in the 80's and 90's, before they were discontinued, were sloppy(not as tight as the orininals insatlled in our 63 thru 67 vettes). i have a bucnh i bought in the 80's and they require modification to tighten them up to pass the perf verification. have your tried to fix your originals? lots of posts on this subject over past couple of years on this forum.try to fix yours before buying nors from whoever. good luck, mike

I bought a new gear for one of my regulators from a company called "All American Corvette" or something similar to that for about $65. Took about 10 minuets to install it and has worked great ever since.

I had my 66 regulators rebuilt for about $50 ea.(cheaper than purchasing gear) by a guy in Illinois. I believe that he advertises in the Driveline. They look good and work fine.

I think the ones being sold by LICS and Paragon are the new licensed reproductions that are being manufactured by Trim Parts; I haven't seen any yet, but Trim Parts has an excellent reputation for quality.

Thanks for the help. Once again I wasn't as clear as I should have been(still learning). I have a ''64 coupe but the regulators are for a '67 therefore they are too long. I'll check with LIC about using theirs.
