    correct motor paint

Purchased motor paint in Toronto many years back from a company called Master Paint Supply, it came in a quart can so I can put it in a cup gun. Think the species is enamel, it was a perfect match to the original paint on the motor. It is listed as Pro Guard, Pro-V-2840. Does anyone know if this paint is still available or if not what is available in non rattle can that is the correct colour.

    Thanks,

    Warren

    Re: correct motor paint

I did a seach and found nothing related to this product. I think you'll find that there's no individual product that is inherently correct for all years and generations of GM engines. There's plenty of discussion on this in the archives.

I just used up the last of a rattle can of GM orange that I found at Canadian Tire. It matched my existing paint quite well, but have no idea if my orange is the same as your orange.

It's a hit and miss proposition at best.
