    1971 Radio Instruction Sheet

I've been searching for one for quite a while now with no luck.....haven't ever seen one and now a very reputable dealer in corvette literature tells me there was not one offered in 71-72 although the judging manual asks for one (states 71-72 do not have a "stereo radio sheet" but implies it should have a radio sheet) and I got a deduction for not having one. So the question is am I looking for something that doesn't exist.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: 1971 Radio Instruction Sheet

    Jerry,
I have had the same comment about the lack of a radio instruction sheet for 70, 71 and up Corvettes. I do know that both my 70 and 71 cars which were bought from the original owners had radio instruction sheets along with all the other glovebox pieces. t seems to me that the TIM & JG. are correct. The instructions do refer to a stereo radio even though you may have a non stereo unit. There are different instruction sheets so you will need the correct part number piece which I will obtain and post.

The radio sheet that was in my 70 and 71 glovebox package is part number 7301199. On the cover of this fold open glossy white booklet is Chevrolet AM-FM Radio and Stereo Adapter.

We are currently revising the 1970-72 JG. There is a possibility that 1972s didi not have the radio sheet. Can any original owners of '72s help us out here?

            Reba,
I bought a 3400 mile 72 car last year from the original owners estate. It was VIN # 12293. It had all the glovebox pieces including a radio sheet.
