It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood

I'm out in a T-shirt and shorts, sipping a Gatorade as I move stuff around, big fluffy clouds rolling along, with a nice breeze.

84 degrees, 29.80 inches, winds NNE at 18 mph at 2:50 pm.

Less that 24 hours from a hurricane.

Trade that for snow and ice? Are you nuts?

This is the third time in a month and a half we have been on the tracking line. And that doesn't even count the tornado that popped up out of nowhere on Aug 20. (Wedding anniversary, something bad always happens that day.)

While it isn't the reason I moved to Ocala, I knew from all the years living down south that Ocala NEVER got hurricanes.

We were lined up fairly well, with it slightly east of us, so we got the downswing winds, but now it is showing slightly west of us, so we will be getting the upswing winds. Depending on the models, we will get anywhere from 45 to 100 mph winds.

Don't you love that accuracy?

It's 70 degrees here with a little breeze and not many clouds in the sky. Yup, I'd go for that over 85 anyday.
