I am into a frame off restoration on a 63 roadster. The left front corner was hit or hit something. I replaced the inner fender and thought the place it was bonded was just a poor repair because the left and right did not match. I am now ready to set the body back on and was checking the fit of the splash guards. The new parts are from Paragon marked 63-67. I ended up with two sets one I got at Carlyle last year. (Memory gone) Both sets are the same, the left is not as big as the right and the angle is less than 90 degrees on the left. Is the rear portion of the left inner fender bonded more to the rear than the right? If so, why? If the splash grads I have are correct the distance measured at the lip of the fenders at the front of the rocker molding to the inner fender is different left to right. Thanks for any help. Re: Inner left fender
Yes, they are different from side to side. The lower leg is shorter on one side. If you look at the metal shields you will see a relief where the bolts go through the fender lip. That relief will show you the difference in the placement.- Top

Re: Inner left fender
Thanks Joe & Wayne. Do you know what the approxamate measurment would be from the rear left fender lip to the inner fender. The right is about 3/4" and the left was about 1&1/2" prior to disassemble. Thanks again for the info.- Top
