    Tank sheet

I would like to drop the tank and check out the build sheet. Should I just take a picture and put it back or try and remove it?

    Re: Tank sheet

Whenever this question is asked you'll get a majority of responses telling you to take pictures, protect it on the tank and put it back. Some will even tell you to take it out keep it out and put a new one in it's place, and of course leave the sticker on the tank.

      Re: Tank sheet

if, upon removal of tank, the sticker is just hanging on by a thread and removal will not detract from the intactness of the sticker, then i'd remove the sticker from the tank(it'll probably detach itself soon and end up on the interstate and lost forever.). if its well preserved and the factory glue is still holding fast(and in which case seperation of sticker from tank will destroy some or all of the sticker), then i'd remove the original tank with its intact sticker, store it with the family jewels, and install a replacement tank.mike
