Performing many frame-off restorations lately and have found MANY of these Corvettes still have their original build sheets. Any suggestions of whom I can contact to have either these build sheets restored themselves or to have replicas made of these originals???? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Build Sheet
Adam-
The build sheet is extremely fragile and worn in many areas. This is great to preserve, and the question is.....who can take this information and make a "new" sheet with the info on it to be displayed with the car in shows, etc. My fear is that the more this fragile piece of aged paper is handled, it will deteriorate at a rapid pace. Also, what is a team leader? We have retrieved about five of them in the past week- years all vary.- Top

Re: Build Sheet
here's what i do.
carefully place the sheet(s) in laminate bought from the office supply store and make copies. i scanned mine into computer, saved and printed. use those as they are copies. keep the originals in a very safe place until needed...like for a buyer if selling, or, if being judged. i wouldn't mess around with the originals as any changes could be suspect. there are companies that advertise repro window stickers and the like for sale. i have not used them. for more advice, i'd browse this site in the contact section. try to reach one of the folks that makes sense based on their area of expertise. good luck.- Top
