    59 Turn Signal switch Assembly

Looking at various parts books, I see a flat wedge spring return listed (with no real pictures showing WHERE it belongs), and upon disassembly of my steering/turn signal I see no flat spring, just the circular canceling assembly that activates the turn signal switch.

Thanks again! for any words or images to help make this old guy have a clearer understanding of what is what.

the c-1's, as well as the 53 and 54 chevy pass.cars(which shared similar if not identical turn signal apparatus,) had a flat spring steel band that served to return the dirc signal swithch handle to neutral. check out local junk yards for the 53-54 chevy pass cars for the spring steel piece you are mising. good luck, mike

You should see a pair of slots on the left side of the bell where it fits.

Yep, If I had gotten out my eye glasses and taken a good look I would have seen those two slots and might have figured it out.

Guess besides the flat spring, I need to buy a round cord to hang my eye glasses around my neck.
