The headlight warning bulb gets its power feed from the headlight switch (20-ga. light blue wire), and is grounded at the microswitches (in series) at the headlight motors (gray/black wire). Check for power in the blue wire with the headlight knob pulled all the way out, and work forward from there. Hope you have the special #257 bulb in that socket, or it won't flash.- Top

I installed all new bulbs in the restored instrument cluster. The bulbs were from a Lectric Limited bulb kit. Carefully installed all of the proper bulb #'s in their respective sockets including this special bulb..
