Do I need to find a shop familiar with mid-year vettes to fix a sagging headliner? The material itself is in nice condition, so I'll assume it has been replaced previously.

There's quite a bit of information on this subject in the archives. I think that you will find the consensus is there is no good way to re-attach a sagging headliner. I tried unsuccessfully. Finally went with the Al Knoch headliner and am happy with the results. His headliner is a rigid plastic, so it's not the same as the original.- Top

Re: '66 COUPE SAGGING HEADLINER
Although I've already ordered a new headliner, since the glue attacking the foam sounds like the problem, I was wondering if anyone has tried the type of adhesive that hobby shops sell for covering foam wing cores on model airplanes. It is specially made to not "eat" the foam.- Top
