IS THERE ANY TRUTH THAT THERE WERE ONLY ( 130 ) 1963 CORVETTES THAT CAME WITH THE ( N 34 ) OPTION ? PLASTIC WOODGRAIN WHEEL. 1964 WAS ( N 32 )TEAKWOOD .

Yes, the 130 count for N34, wood wheel, in '63 is from factory production records. 1964 and later cars used N32 to designate the teak wheel option, but '64 production records indicate no cars were sold in '64 with the option....

The 63 steering wheel is the only year where the stainless part of the wheel is machined in a circular pattern. 64 - 67 the machine pattern follows the arms of the stainless to the center of the wheel.

colored 63 steering wheels came with radial as well as tangential machine patterns. see judging manual. mike
