C2 convertible tops

Can anyone tell me if there are any differences in 63-67 top frame assemblys. Are there date codes anywhere besides the plastic window. Also what finish was applied at St Louis on the frame.

there are definitly sublte differences between 63 and 67 soft top bow assemblies.try your best to get one from a model year the same as yours. mike

The largest difference is in the second bow. Early and untill sometime in 65 that bow was round and the pad is attached with screws, like the C1 cars. The Later ones 65-66 and 67 had a squared off bow with a tacking strip. As for the color. I have an original 66 that is definitely gloss black, not simi or flat.
