This pertains to the wire routed to the lamp assembly for the rear license plate of a 1957 Corvette. How far from the outboard tip of the rear bumperette is the hole in the body for this wire located? Also how big is the hole, and does anyone know of a source for the correct grommets (part #3726434)? Your help is greatly appreciated.
I just walked out to the garage and got a measurement from my 57. From the edge of the fiberglass lip that is between the rubber spacers for the bumper to the centre of the wire hole is 4 1/4 inches on both sides of my car.
