While sitting a red light, with the left turn signal on, it stopped blinking and stayed on after a couple of minutes of waiting for the green (at least it seemed that long). It never has happened at a stop sign or if it's a short light. Any thoughts on what the problem is or where to start?
Check to see if either the front or rear bulb is burned out on that side. The flasher usually takes the amperage of both bulbs burning to break the circuit. If it is doing it on both sides, which you don't mention, then you should probably try changing the flasher unit.
Thanks for the tip. I'll check the bulbs on that side. Regarding your other point, it has never done that turning right. But, I never sit as long at the light when turning right. It has only happened after sitting at a light for some time waiting to go left.
