Re: vettepartsonline
I bought the o-ring calipers 2 years ago from Precision Engineering in Wellington, FL. They advertise in Driveline. Their design does not use a spring behind the piston. They advised this springless design prevents the rotor with runout from acting like an air pump causing air to enter the system. They claim this springless piston design is a similar design to C4 calipers. C4 owners chip in here. I have not found pedal travel to be excessive.
I wanted o ring design because I felt for a collector car driven 1000 miles a year it would be less prone to caliper leaks.

Re: vettepartsonline
As mentioned elsewhere in the thread, buy Vette Brakes' O-ring calipers and ask for them in "NCRS black."
I don't think you will find anyone here complaining about VB. I personally own 4 sets of these calipers and they are excellent.

Re: vettepartsonline
Greg,
Yes I have had no problems. The O ring design has been satisfactory so far. I shopped all the caliper vendors at a spring NCRS meet in Kissimmee.I also replaced the rubber hoses and master cylinder at the same time.
