    C1 Wide Wheel 5.5 X15 ??

Hello, I have 1 original C1 KH 5.5 x 15 wheel in nice shape. I am thinking about selling it or possibly trading it for some other big brake items I need for my 58'. If I decide to sell it, what should I ask or expect to get or better yet...what would you ask for it if it were yours? Thanks

& 687 cars with 276 wheels are headed to the garage with the lug wrench while the wife is addressing boxes with the Sharpie and hollering "How do you spell McCagh?" and "Is Cumberland in Maryland or West Virginia?".

A good welded rust free correct wheel 15x5 should be around $100.00
        15x5.5 rivited are more common.

Get out in the real world and try to buy "CORRECT" 5.5" wheels for big brakes. Dr. "Q" is pretty much on target as to what they are worth. There are plenty of made wheels out there, but the real McCoys are very rare.

            Roy--
Send me every one of those "more common" 15X 5.5 riveted wheels you have!!! I suspect that you mean 15X5-- and that tiny .5" makes a big dollar difference.

              Agree w/Dickie...

In my experience FINDING a REAL wide wheel in fair/good condition owned by someone willing to sell is a lot harder than paying for it.

You should know that rare may be rare ,but demand determines the cost of any thing. SO I believe that the skinny 15.5 wheel demands more money because more people are looking for the same welded dated wheel.for their year Corvette. (plus they wont hold my hub caps on)After all most or many were replaced in past years with reversed chromed wheels having baby moon hub caps. Did you miss that period as a young pretty guy.?
