Adjusting headlight bucket mid-year

My passenger side headlight bucket has to be moved to the right in order for the correct gaps to be established ------ looks to me as if it's a dis-assembly type of job? Am I correct???

No. There is a Y-Stop on the inside pivot and a locking ring on the outside. With these loosened it will slide. However, if it hasent been apart lately, all bets are off, because it is probably stuck in the pivot bearings.

As Wayne says, it's the Y bracket on the inside and locking ring on the outside which determine the horizontal position of the bucket.(I think he said that in different words).
Try loosening the Y bracket first and move it inboard to get your gap. You can use wood shims to set the gap. Then tighten the y bracket. Then loosen the outside ring amd move it inboard so that the bucket is tight in position.

You are going to wish you had eyes on your fingers. Also, don't tighten up too much on the bolt on the Y bracket; its cast aluminimum and will crack. Mine did and I replaced it with a cast steel bracket from Paragon. Also check your inner pivot mount, mine was also cracked.
