I had an old family friend in town last weekend, he used to have a '66 SB. Drove him around in the '62, which squeaks over each and every bump. He suggested something called Ru-Glide for the body mounts and suspension bushings (which are all repro, new rubber pieces). Googling leads to threads on old Model-T forums about using it to lube the beads when mounting tires. I called Napa and the smallest container is a gallon, but costs $12. Anyone have any idea A) what the stuff is and B) whether it's good/safe for quieting down rubber squeaks?
Used it many years ago at a service (remember them?) station. Used a spray bottle to soak suspension bushings. Very sloppy but worked great. Kept them quiet for a year.
Wait! you added new body mounts ( rubber) ? They are tighten down ( front,.rear.and cab area) how can they squeak?
Are you sure it's not the rear springs or front? Or A arms? Or seats? Or????
