    C1 diffential carrier

How does one differentiate between "3 series" and "4 series" positraction carriers. What are the differences / dimentions? TIA, John.

The ring gear in a "4" series gear is thinner, and the carrier is thicker to compensate. Spacers are available (or used to be) to facilitate the conversion into a 3-series carrier.

The 3-series case is casting #C-30743 and the 4-series is casting #C-30751.
