What color is Tuxedo Black carpet supposed to be??? I saw some Tuxedo Black carpet that was like a Forest Green in the daylight. Is this the correct color.

Tuxedo Black is an exterior color, Tuxedo STYLE carpet is an 80/20 weave technique. The 1959 (late) through 1962 BLACK "Salt and Papper" style carpet, which is correct for your car, is in reality an olive drab, greenish-black color with the appearance of randomly added black "specks" due to a superimposed black nylon tracer making a composite thread from which the carpet is woven.
Same stuff on the door panels. It really looks nice when installed. Much better than plain old black which hides the black specks.
