plating parts gene manno anyone had experience with imperial plating or nu chrome corp i'm interested in getting some parts clear zinc chromate or silver cad plated and yellow zinc chromate prices and turn around time should be reasonable

re plating parts joe lucia i've never had any experience with the platers you mentioned however i can offer this advice most platers have minimum charges this means that if you have one part to plate or many up to the minimum you pay the same price usually they will do different finishes on different pieces and all will count toward the minimum the minimum charge is usually on the order of or more this means that you should make sure that you get everything that you need to have plated done at the same time if you forget a piece and take it in later that one piece might cost you as much as the everything else that was done the first time
