Exactly where does the wiring harness connector from the steering column clip on to? I'm having a hard time making out in the assembly manual exactly what it attaches to.

Re: '67 STEERING COLUMN WIRING HARNESS
Some things changed in '67 from earlier MY cars, but the system was this way in the earlier years.... Column harness was routed beneath a flat plastic protecting 'sheath' and exited about 3/4 of the way down the column. It was looped around the column from the bottom to the top and plugged into the mating connector of the dash harness.
The dash harness' mating connector had a small 'slit' that accepted a 'fish hook' shaped spring clip. The barbed end of this clip slid into a retaining slot on the lower top side of the steering column to hold the wires in place at their mating connector junction.- Top

Re: '67 STEERING COLUMN WIRING HARNESS
Rob,
My 67 has the connector clip fastened to the brake support plate, on the drivers side lower flat area. Hope this helps.

After reading your post and looking at the assembly manual again I think I see how it attaches as you explained. Thanks...- Top
