Heater Core GM# needed

Hello,

I have a 53-82 GM parts catalog and I can't seem to find the GM part number for a 1966 heater core with A/C. When was this discontinued and are there NOS ones out there or should I just forget it and buy new repro.

What you seek is a GM #3008575. Unfortunately, it was discontinued without supercession in October, 1979. Are there NOS examples out there? Well, maybe a few after 25 years. Is it worth looking for one? Absolutely not. An aftermarket SERVICE unit will do you just fine and no one will be the wiser.

I usually always prefer North American sourced parts. For this core, though, there may not be such a thing.

According to DocRebuild's catalog the are N.American and FarEast but the price difference is only $5.00 more for N.American. So I think I answered my own question:D:D
