Could someone please tell me the correct harmonic balancer for a '58 283/270 hp? The NCRS Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide for for 1958-1960 chassis, p 74 shows the pictures for two balancers. One shows a Low horsepower balancer #3760584 and the other a High horsepower Balancer #3764318. The text says the #3764318 is for 1959 & 1960 270 & 290 horespower engines ( nothing about 1958 270/290) and says that the #3760584 is for all other applications. Does all other applications mean 1958 270 hp even though the picture refers to the 584 as for Low horsepower?
