Fired up the L79 tonight with no problems whatsoever, thanks to the many who gave me advice and support on this board. I couldn't have done this without you guys. Body drop next weekend!

Yeah Chuck, I can't wait to see what my next "recovery" lets me accomplish ! Use flat white spray paint on those windows - it keeps prying eyes at bay and still lets in some lightComment

I was serious about the advice I received here. I followed all of the applicable tips folks gave me, and it fired up with ease. After the cam break-in, I ran it for another 30 minutes and set the timing, then just stood behind it, listening to the idle in amazement at how strong the mouse sounded. All the hard work on the chassis almost has me reluctant to set the body back on....but now I can hardly wait to drive it. It ought to be ready in time for the first snowfallComment
