    C3 '68 - Luk Throwout Bearing

    I recently purchased a replacement Luk clutch assembly. The package comes with a partially plastic throwout bearing. I've checked the archives and see that there are no negatives regarding this throwout bearing and comments basically taking the premise that it is new technology. Has anyone actually installed this type throwout bearing and, if so, what's your experience? Dropping the transmission is not one of my all-time favorite jobs! I would prefer to do it just once. As always, thanks in advance for any information or feedback.

      Working ok in one of my cars, but driven only a few hundred miles a year.

          I think that you will find several OEM's using the bearing that you describe. As far as I know the bearing is equal or better than the original
