C1 Windshield Delamination

1958;I disassembled the windshield frame to replace the rubber w/s. The windshield is the original and is in good condition. I was planning on reusing it but noted what I believe to be delamination on the very edge of part of the glass. It does not go beyond the rubber w/s and is about a 6" long area. Is this a typical feature of the early glass or is it the beginning of delamination. The area looks like odd shaped bubbles in between the layers of glass. I don't want to take the windshield off later and I think glass replacement is the likely way to go. Input appreciated. TIA Ken

With consideration to the difficulty of replacing later, the look of new glass, I would replace it. Cost is about $450.00 and you can sell your original making the net cost not to bad.
