C2 '66 Extra holes in firewall?

I am uncertain of the holes on the right side below the firewall panel. It's a 66 with a 427 no a/c. I have attached a picture and put rivets and circled the holes in question. I want to verify the holes and how these were attached to the firewall. Where can I find the needed clips? I did post on another site and did receive some helpful information.

    Thanks for any ideas.

On a 67 BB no AC, the right hole in the photo (left in the car) has a "J" clip fastened with a pop rivet. This is for the battery cable. There is no left hole; however there is a "J" clip fastened with the heater stud in this area for the starter wiring. Possibly in '66 they riveted both "J" clips.

Clips are available from Long Island Corvette or Paragon.

There is also a "J" clip adjacent to the tunnel that is for the Speedo cable. This one is held in place with a conventional rivet with the head inside the car. You didn't mention that one, however there appears to be a hole for it in your photo. Check your AIM for those details.
