    C2 Dash Wishbone

My 66 dash wishbone vertical (radio) panel keeps working loose where it fastens to the body transmission tunnel. I've used epoxy and repaired it several times but I've been moving around a lot inside the car and it keeps breaking loose. I'll have to remove the radio again to try to clean and re epoxy. Any hints?

Don't use epoxy. Use polyester resin (the resin for doing automotive body work) or the fiberglass bondo (available through Bondo at WalMart). The epoxy isn't strong enough to make a permanent bond on something with so much stress.

Also, when cleaning the surfaces for it to stick, try cutting a few small grooves to give the bonding material more surface area to stick to and a different angle to exert force against.
