Does a 66 427 big block have a 3/8" steel line? If so, what size line is on a small block? Is the 3/8" measurement an inside or outside diameter? Thanks.

Re: 66 big block fuel line
Shane,
I did not come up with a size, but here's what I found:
The '66 AIM lists the tank to pump fuel line part number as 3833471. I did not find a different part number for a big block fuel line in the AIM, but in the '66 JG there is a physical description of the difference at the idler arm. The small block line has a 45 degree bend 2-1/2" in front of the idler arm, whereas the big block line has a 90 degree bend 6" in front of the idler arm.
Sorry I wasn't of more help. Maybe Joe Lucia or others have specs on fuel line sizes. If all else fails, contact the catalog vendors or GM restoration source and ask them for details on the fuel lines they have in stock. Several of the catalogs list different part numbers for small vs big block fuel lines.
