    Spark Plugs

Need to know what the proper AC plug is for a 67 427/435. Plan on driving the car approximately 1,500 - 2,000 miles per year. As always thanks in advance.

The plug installed at the engine assembly plant was an AC 43N. I would recommend for street use using a hotter plug like a 44N or 45N.

I've got a 67 L-71, I haven't been able to find any actual 43N's but have found plenty of R43XLS to R45XLS plugs at my local auto zone. I'd use the hotter plug if you plan on just short runs and letting the car sit.

      Good luck,grr#33570
