Original Assembly Manual Supplier

On original assembly manuals, the logo "Drafting Graphic" (or perhaps it is Graphic Drafting) appears at the top of each page. Does anyone know if the this is the original supplier? Were they an internal branch of General Motors or were they an outside firm contracted to produce these manuals?

Any information would be appreciated.

They were produced internally by the Chevrolet Engineering Graphics Department and were never distributed outside Chevrolet; the ones we buy today are reproduced from originals people were lucky enough to locate from insiders.

John - I assume the AIMs were copyrighted or even considered "company confidential". I also assume that they are reproduced with permission, etc.; otherwise I would imagine GM would sue. Are my assumptions correct?
