I have the ID tag for the original radiator in my '67 BB(4spd). Exactly where and how is it attached. I've been told it originally went on before the side tanks were attached. I'd rather leave it off, if it won't stay on after I re-attach it at this point.

Re: '67 ORIGINAL BB RADIATOR ID TAG
Rob,
The tag is clipped/snapped onto the edge of the passenger side tank about midway between the top and bottom on the engine side. It was installed AFTER the tank and core were soldered together. It should have a couple of clip points on it that clip onto the tank edge with the tag over the tank... not the core.- Top

Re: '67 ORIGINAL BB RADIATOR ID TAG
Thanks Steve, I'll try to clip it on and see if it feels like it will stay in place. I'm 99.9% done with my '67 and I'm starting to look for a '66 small block roadster, driver quality, how's your car progressing?- Top

Rob------
1967 was the only year to use the short "slider". For 1968 and later the "slider" was lengthened. The lengthened "slider" became the SERVICE part for 1967s many years ago.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
