What is the orientation of the line from the block and the line entering the firewall? Which one is top and which bottom? Thanks!

Hi David.
I have two pictures of 56s showing the oil line. One has no loop, and probably has been replaced. The other is the way I believe the loop would be expected to look. The line comes from the engine back toward the firewall, up and forward, loops down, then up again and through the firewall. This is the way I configured the line on my 56, but at the time I gave little thought as to which way to loop it. As you may know the 56-7 assembly manual shows the line with no loop (Page K152). The lines may have been formed both ways as the factory workers didn't seem to have instructions to the configuration. Of course, like myself, some workers may not have always followed the instructions if they did have them to follow.
