    HOAT Antifreeze

    This is mainly a question for Duke but anyone with knowledge feel free to chime in. I'm putting a motor back into my 56 that has been rebuilt so the entire cooling system is completely drained. I've read Duke's posts recommending HOAT antifreeze for older systems and I'm wondering if anyone knows if the new Prestone yellow "mix with anything" antifreeze is a HOAT or OAT product. I can't find any info relevant to this on their web site or on the packaging.

      I don't know what type this new Prestone product is, but I do know that Zerex G-05 is HOAT.

      I haven't visited the Prestone web site, but it might have some useful information, or maybe not.

          I've very suspicious of the "mix with anything" claim.

              I've since found out that the "yellow mix with anything Prestone" is OAT. I guess I'm looking for some Zerex. Thanks for your response.
