    Engine Identification Numbers

Can anyone help me decipher the following Engine Identification numbers? The engine is currently a 1966 corvette convertible:

Engine Casting # 391632 (with a large GM 1 to the right of it)
    Casting Date: K 15 7 (Nov 15, 1967)
Engine ID Pad: T121410 or T12141Q (large letters) & 18S40753 (small letters)

The engine pad #'s are very hard to read not 100% sure of these numbers. The engine appears to be a big block 427/390 Hp with a Rochester Quadrajet carb.

Does anyone have a clue or can you tell where to go for information?

    Thanks,

    Triple R

It appeares from the numbers you have a 68 427/390. Casting # should be 3916321. pad date is 12/14, IQ is 427/390 with AT

There are several books at the NCRS store online that will decipher the numbers, including the Judging Manual and Technical Information Guide, the Pocket Reference Guide for 1968-82, and several others
