    C-2 Door adjustment question

I need to raise my 67 Coupe drivers door up at the front, to fit better with the top of the front fender. I see the hinge mounts in the door will allow movement front to rear, but no up and down.. Can the bolts that hold the hinge to the cage be loosened to move the door up??? Thanks, Kurt

    Take the door panel off.

The up/down adjustment is on the mounting point that is accessed by removing the interior door panel.

I can see how to raise the rear of the door with the mounts in the door, it is the front of the door I need to raise..Kurt

The hinge-to-door attachments provide all three adjustments (fore-aft, up-down, and in-out); there are no adjustments at the hinge-to-body pillar attachment.

Thanks guys for the info. I took one bolt out and saw the hinge was slotted to allow front to back movement only. I will put a jack under the door and try to lift it.. I heard these doors are a bit tough to adjust. Kurt
