What's proper procedure to get Judging Sheets ?

Ray's request for emergency score sheets (see post further down) got me wondering how I could get a set for my 1965's, in order to best prioritize my $$$ and/or elbow grease, to maximize score on a never-before-judged car. In the paragraph below, I've copied what the "Judging Awards" button has to say.

"""NCRS publishes two manuals that pertain to the judging of your car, both of which you need to read and understand. The first is the "Judging Reference Manual" which gives a thorough description of the judging process. The second manual is the "Corvette Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide" for the year of your car which describes the originality of each judged area on your car. These manuals AND SCORE SHEETS are available from the Membership Office. Use the sheets to judge your car. Be honest and critical. This pre-judging will give you a chance to fix last minute details before you come to the meet"""

The SCORE SHEETS do not appear in the list of NCRS store items. I have the '65 TIM & JG, and plan to order the Judging Reference Manual. Do I just ask for the Judging Sheets and the Mortimers will include ?

Updates are done so often now that score sheets are not included in the judging manuals as they once were.

Score sheets may be obtained from judging chair Roy Sinor. His email address and phone number are listed in RESTORER. There is no charge for these.

You may want to contact your Chapter judging person for a copy of the judging sheets for your car.
      Best regards,
      Charlie

Re: What's proper procedure to get Judging Sheets

Some chapter judging chairpersons have very up-to-date judging score sheets for all years of judged Corvettes, others may have out-of-date sheets for some years. Still others may have none. Of course, one will never know without asking.
On the other hand, Roy Sinor has the up-to-date score sheets for all years of judged Corvettes, however, on those seven weekends each year when there is a Regional meet, and the one or two weekends when there is a National Convention, Roy is not so readily available

          Why not put them here?

What would be the problem with making them available via download from this web site? I asked Roy for a set of judging sheets this past spring and after determining our local chapter didn't have them, he was prompt in responding, but he shouldn't be expected to respond to daily requests for literature. Since the point structure has been removed from the Judging Guides, it's difficult to determine where one's money is best spent. If the most current of each were available via download, it would only be necessary for Roy to provide John Waggoner with each update once.

Just a guess, but based in part on a conversation with Roy this weekend:
I believe he wants to be sure the score sheets are going to members. Posting them here does nothing to insure that.

That argument doesn't hold much water

At every major swap meet the NCRS has a table and sells the judging guide. They don't ask you if you're a member or not when you show them the cash (VISA or MasterCard). Until the most recent editions, that INCLUDED the judging sheets. The judging sheets aren't worth a whole lot without the judging guide other than to show relative point deductions but they're worth a lot to someone who's trying to decide whether to spend their $200 allowance (so generously provided by their spouse) on an original coil or a clock.
