69 L68 block found Any owners out there?

This is a long shot but.... I recently purchased a 427 short block. Once I got it home I realized this is an original. The pad reads "T1226LQ 19S712707" which translates into a 427/400hp tri-power-4speed . I was going to put it into a Camino project I have on the go,but thought maybe the original owner is looking for it. It is likely a Canadian car which makes this even more difficult.

Anyone know a good place to pursue this "block to corvette" search? I appreciate any direction or assistance you may have to help get these two items back together.

I would suggest an ad in the Driveline, as well as a post on the C3 Vette registry. Also the Corvette Forum, and Corvette Action Center in both of these websites under the C3 sections.

What makes you think this is a Canadian car? GM Canada can confirm/deny whether this it is an original import car. If true, and an owner has requested information from them, possibly they could relay the news about the block you found.
