    C1 seats & softop

Can anyone tell me if C1 seats are interchangable ? If so what years. I'd like to just pop off the backs & bottems to store in my closet, along with the bias WW tires, steering wheel & softop.I like using the car,it won NCRS "SURVIVOR" award in 2000.Incase there is a celebration for the golden anniversary she will be 50 years old 2008.I will show this car again.I'd like to be able to put these parts back on the car in their original condition. The seats are showing their age,i'd like to preserve them.If anyone can help me i'd sure appreciate it.If I keep using these seats the seems have already started to separate.I need to change them ASAP.Some people told me to take off the skins, store them & recover the frames.I don't think that would work,I don't think 47 year old vinyl could handle being put back on the frames 3 years from now. I don't think taking the skin off the softop would work either.I am looking for another Conv top & or assembly to recover to allow me to use the car.Can anyone guide me.I want to drive my Vette but i'd like to keep this car as true as I can.She is like new underneith, frame stencil & insp markings from G.M. from the rear end to the shocks. It would be a sin to alter the integrity of this car,it is ALL there.Any advisors out there ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Deb

    Deb...
Good Idea, You might check with Mary Jo Rohner for she might have seats etc that could fill in. Al Knoch has them, but $$$ are required.

      Hum....

'Survivor' is a registered trademark of the 'other' guys, Deb--NCCB/Bloomington. At NCRS we call our corresponding award for unrestored Corvettes Star/Bowtie.
