    69 427/3x2 dist vac connection?

where is the vac advance hose supposed to be hooked up? i have the metal tube held by the clip on the rocker cover bolt. it looks like it goes to the base plate port of the center carb?? the assembly manual somewhat shows it to be hooked directly to manifold vac?? i have a/c and 4 speed so i think i am to have a 3 port vac connector. the large port to the PB, one to the a/c controls and the 3rd to the vac tank, right? also the secondary vac pods hook to the angled downward port of the center carb and then thru a T to the front and rear pods, correct?
    thanks, dick

My 69 400HP Non AC automatic car has the vac advance connected to the base of the center carb. I haven't looked at it for awhile, but I seem to remember that the "pods" are connected to the same vac source through a series of rubber tubes and plastic "T's". Chuck
