1963 Aluminum 340 HP Valve Covers

Does anybody have the Gm Part number that is located inside this model valve cover? I am looking for a nice pair of 63 Valve covers...Thanks

GM P/N 3910298, for all 1962-67 engines (except for SPH, F.I.)

GM P/N 3767493, for all 1962-67 327 engines (with SPH, F.I.)

Collin,

Correct valve covers for your car will NOT have the casting line across the "o" in Corvette. They will look like the picture below.

They will also have part number "3767493" and the word "LESTER" cast into the upper inner surface.

Mikie you should know that I would never resort to altering, changing, modifing, or otherwise attempting to "fool the judges" through tactics originating and frequently performed by a certain resident near Cumberland MD.

All the restoration efforts performed by me on Corvettes components are done above board, without reproach and within allowable enviroment laws and accepable practice within the Corvette community......

except when I think I can get a way with it.

I had the flaw taken out of my covers for a 65. I thought they looked perfect. The judges in Windsor figured it out. In the covers with the flaw the O is a little different and easy to spot. Mike
