    C1 door assembly order

Proper order of assembly of inside door parts?
    install stops
    posts
    rear run
    regulaters
    handles
    glass
Can I pretty much go by ST12?
Is this correct? what have I forgotten? Any tricks?

    Larry...

Best to mount the door cove mouldings first

    Door lock & latch mechanism

Outside door handle & lock cylinder

(Bellcrank should be mounted before painting the door)

    these may be already installed...
The ST12 and your list is good. Install the window regular assemble before poceeding with the post. Reinforcement clearance will be blocked by the track/guide if you do not.
Things like crushing the in/out window felts in a vise and spaying silicone in the rear run, installing new door glass seals and placing the cushion seals over the regular stud before installing are some of the tricks...

I found that I had to loosen (as in remove the bolts) on the widow regulator and curved track in order to slide the rear regulator roller arm into the track on the bottom of the window. ST12 said to pry the roller into the track but that seemed a bit harsh on the parts. Moving the regulator around with the window roughly in position made slipping those rollers into the track quick and easy.

      Hope this helps!

        Larry...

If you are going to rivet any door panel mounting hole plates inside the door, best do it while everything is out...
